The past few months I worked with many different theatre companies to develop new works! Here are a few:

- BD Wong's "Heading East" (dir. Carlos Armesto) with Theatre C

- NY Stage and Film's "Switched" (dir. Sheryll Kaller, book by Geoffrey Nauffts)

- David Henry Hwang/ Columbia University's International Reading Festival workshop of "Time Bomb" (dir. Ed Sylvanus Iskandar)

- Ars Nova's reading of "Impact" (dir. Taylor Reynolds, by Ray Yamanouchi)

- Ali Skye Bennet's workshop of "Rafetus" (dir. Jill DeArmon)

- Ars Nova's reading of "16 Winters" (dir. Caitlin Sullivan, by Mary Elizabeth Hamilton)

- The Playwright's Realm's reading of "Sweet Vapor"

- Ted Malawer's "Roller Magic" (dir. Morgan Gould)

Pictured here with BD Wong for "Heading East."

Here's some buzz:

"Impeccably convincing cast (which also includes beautifully authentic performances by Katie Lee Hill...)"
"Katie Lee Hill and Sharone Sayegh deliver cheeky back-up vocals and execute much of Chase Brock’s choreography throughout the evening."
"The vocal arrangements are terrific; Worsham, Cooper, and the other two female singers, Katie Lee Hill, and Sharone Sayegh, are a powerful ensemble."
(Exeunt Magazine)

I will be reprising my role in Sky-Pony's new musical, but this time for the full production, produced by Ars Nova and PlayCo! Thank you, Henry Russell Bergstein Casting!

"PlayCo joins forces with the award-winning, adventurous Ars Nova and Brooklyn-based indie-rock band Sky-Pony on a new rock-theater-event, directed by Tony nominee Sam Buntrock (Sunday in the Park with George, Turn of the Screw). A collaboration between singer/actress Lauren Worsham, a Drama Desk winner and Tony nominee, (A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Dog Days, Turn of the Screw) and her musician/writer husband Kyle Jarrow (OBIE winner, A Very Merry Unauthorized Children’s Scientology Pageant),Sky-Pony is beloved for its high energy performance style.
